What Are You Reading?

I just started reading this book by my friend Betsy! I'm interested to see what it's like since the main character is a "P.K." -- pastor's kid -- and so was I.

I'll let you know how it goes next blog (February 18th).

In the meantime, what are you reading?

I'm in the short rows of "Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy" by Eric Mextaxes. I was smart to buy it as an ebook since it's 600 pages! I've keeping a box of tissues handy.
A nice surprise was how much I'm enjoying "The Quakers of New Garden" (April 2012.) I new there would be plenty of simple charm in these books but the four novellas are very intriguing, taking us from New Garden, NC in the early 1800s (with an appearance by a future First Lady) to Quakers who are risking their lives by helping smuggle runaway slaves to freedom.
Oh, and also read this Love Inspired book, what was the name, of yeah, "Stalker in the Shadows" which I give 5 stars! :-)

I haven't been to the Christian Book store in forever and I prefer to buy it at the store then on the computer. So I haven't gotten it yet :( I really want to read it!!!!!! I just finished Divergent by Veronica Roth. It was an amazing book! My librarian recommended it and it was just....wow. Sierra

Thank you for the PK kid piece. Close friend of family was a Pastors kid and grew up with some issues. Tough to blame it on his nurturing. Raising kids is tough job!

I read Divergent recently, too, and it's soo goood. :D
I've just finished the Christian series The River of Time (Waterfall, Cascade, Torrent), and that really kept me reading.
I just started a book I got for Christmas (oops...), which is called A Peep Behind the Scenes, which is an like an old book republished or something. :)
